Floyd VanDeburgh.

Vice President of Leader Development

International Executive Team

Latin America Director

Floyd VanDeburgh grew up in a small town in western Oklahoma and met Christ as his personal Savior as a university student. As he grew in his new faith the Lord gave him a desire to share the love, forgiveness and purpose that he found in Christ with other students on university campuses after graduation. During this time he met, Sharon, his wife of 43 years. They have four grown children and two grandchildren.

After serving as a campus evangelist he attended seminary. After graduating he and Sharon moved with two young children to South Carolina to plant a church, which he pastored for 23 years. During these years he started leading teams from his own and other churches on short term mission trips to help evangelize, disciple and start new churches. His passion grew for God’s work in the world and he joined Strategic Impact in 2007 to dedicate himself to training pastors and leaders internationally. His primary region of ministry has been in Latin America, but he has also served in the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia.  He has a passion to share Jesus with others and help them grow as followers of Christ. He is also committed to train leaders and pastors to make multiplying disciples who will plant multiplying churches everywhere—until everyone hears about the only hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

Floyd and Sharon live in Mississippi enjoying their family and many friends. He delights in spending time in nature with his horse and dog.
